Open a blank workspace or load a sample industrial project.

Blank project

Start a new structure scene and import your own models.

Cases

Opens the full Structura workspace in the browser — import a local project folder or start blank.

How to use the editor

This guide walks through authoring from scratch: click Start blank to enter the workspace. Use the left sidebar tabs; the right side is the 3D viewport. Follow these steps for your first project.

  1. 1

    Upload a model (Model Source)

Open Model Source, upload a .glb / .stl / .obj model, and set the device name. Then orbit and zoom in the viewport to inspect it.

  2. 2

    Structure and annotate (Device Structure)

Add components, bind mesh parts, and fill display names and descriptions. Build hierarchy and bindings for recognition labels.

  3. 3

    Tune lights and materials

Under Lights & Materials, adjust scene lighting and part materials so the model looks correct in the viewport.

  4. 4

    Author the assembly sequence

In Action Sequence, author disassembly/assembly steps, fly directions, step cameras, and time limits.

  5. 5

    Preview and save

Use Preview to check the interactive experience. Then save as a zip project bundle or to the server. Exploded and section views help verify the scene.

Tips

  • Viewport: drag to orbit, scroll to zoom; toolbar covers explode, section, and undo.
  • Unsaved changes warn on exit — save regularly so you do not lose configuration.
  • If you already have a full project bundle, use Load Project and skip model upload. Prefer desktop Chrome or Edge.
